TRUMP WAS RIGHT: 20% of Illegal Immigrants Caught at the Border Have Criminal Record - Report: Nearly 90,000 Illegal Immigrant Criminals Released Last Year

In June Donald Trump upset many liberals and Mexican officials when, speaking from his Trump Tower in New York, the 69-year-old property tycoon launched into a tirade against Mexico.

Trump remarked,
“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best they’re sending people that have lots of problems. … They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists… And many of them are good people”
For as much flack at Trump received from the liberal media it ends up he was right.

Border agents say 20% of the illegals captured at the border have criminal records. The Washington Times reported:
Less than half of the U.S.-Mexico border is under “operational control” at this point, the chief of the Border Patrol agents testified to Congress Thursday, detailing the porous situation and violent conditions in the southwest.

Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, also said one out of every five illegal immigrants agents caught along the border in 2014 had a criminal record, which helps explain some of the violence that occurs.

Report: Nearly 90,000 Illegal Immigrant Criminals Released Last Year

Nearly 90,000 illegal immigrants that federal officials considered to be “criminal threats” were released from custody last fiscal year instead of being deported. The actions were because of Obama administration policies, the Washington Examiner reports.
