Styx: Caesar Play Disruptions: Loomer etc, My Thoughts

Editor's Note: Civil disobedience is not owned by the civil rights movement... http://www.911truth.org/civil-disobedience-at-the-white-house-for-911-justice/ Beyond that, the rest of what I'm posting here is not a reply, just thoughts I previously posted on one of this blog... Peaceful civil disobedience in a climate with so much left-wing violence is justified. When leftists protested people like Milo Yiannopoulos and shut down his free speech on college campuses, the difference was they were often violent in doing so, starting riots and such. Also, he was NOT calling for violence against anyone in any way, shape, or form. He was not conducting mock assassinations of Obama days after such rhetoric obviously caused real assassination attempts on Democrats. This isn't rocket science. The left do not have the moral high ground here. Inciting violence is not protected speech and there is a legal debate to be had there, there is legal precedent. But it's just art so likely they get a pass, but not in the court of public opinion and that's the point. I personally don't agree that the play should be permanently shut down or that they don't have the right to do what they did. I also don't think engaging in civil disobedience against it is unjustified given the circumstances. Free speech has consequences, people react. When people have just been shot due to leftist rhetoric and yet you continue on, be it in art form, instead of doing a gut check, instead of disavowing (remember that) then you get what you get. Her saying shut it down could be a call for others to engage in civil disobedience as she did. Did she actually say somewhere that they don't have the right to do what they did? I'd like to see her respond to a direct question about it.
