Peterson hammers the idea of race-based privilege, pointing out that this privilege is merely the benefit of being part of the majority population, and that societies are set up to benefit the majority of people. This does not mean that minority groups cannot succeed - especially those that become part of the majority culture (via language, general behaviour and acquisition of useful skills). Conversely those in the majority population that have poor language, behaviour and lack skills will find themselves on the bottom rung of society.
