Trump Supporter on CNN: Abortion Question Was ‘Trap’ From ‘Liberal Media’

It WAS a hypothetical question and Chris Mathews is the one who brought up punishing women for abortion.

MATTHEWS: Do you believe in punishment for abortion, yes or no as a principle?

TRUMP: The answer is that there has to be some form of punishment.

MATTHEWS: For the woman?

TRUMP: Yeah, there has to be some form.

And just as the woman in this clip points out, very soon after the attack of an interview, after having a bit of time to think, Trump clarified what form of punishment should be taken IF abortion was illegal. "The doctor or any other person performing this illegal act upon a woman would be held legally responsible, not the woman."
