A lot of people in Government and in the Police helped cover up the rape gang crisis. There is a lot of rot in the UK that needs to cleaned out.
The question about Robinson's imprisonment is whether he actually jeopardised the trial with his coverage of the court case, and therefore broke the conditions of his parole. There are varying accounts of what happened, and the judge who sent him to jail admitted to only watching part of the coverage. Tommy's supports claim there is no evidence on film to show Robinson acting in a way that would have prejudiced the trial or other trials underway. Everyone knows what the accused were being charged with.

After significant back-and-forth over the past few months, the White House After significant back-and-forth over the past few months, the White House intends to follow through with a pledge to place tariffs on imported Chinese technology goods while also tightening restrictions on investments by Chinese firms into American companies.
In a statement posted by the White House this morning, the administration said that it would impose a 25 percent tariff on $50 billion of Chinese high-tech goods “containing industrially significant technology.” That follows the conclusion of the U.S. Trade Representative’s Section 301 investigation into China’s industrial and intellectual property policies. What goods will be included in the tariff policy has been up for debate, but the final list will be released on June 15th. This package of tariffs is different than a separate package of tariffs focused on steel and aluminum production announced earlier this year.
The regulations around investment restrictions by Chinese companies will be announced at the end of June. The administration will also continue to litigate a case at the World Trade Organization over intellectual property protections.
All of these announcements should be taken with a shaker’s worth of salt though, since these are just the latest cards being played in a series of interconnected negotiations both internal to the White House and external with the Chinese government.
Internally, the White House has been riven with differences over how aggressively to prosecute the Chinese over its industry practices, with financiers like Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin taking a more flexible line while others like U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Director of the White House National Trade Council Peter Navarro have pushed for a much more aggressive approach. It’s no secret that the election of Donald Trump as President has caused certain public figures on the left to lose all semblance of self-control and common human decency, but most of the time they are able to restrain themselves from issuing vile insults in a public forum if for no other reason than to keep their jobs.
Last night Samantha Bee, who has a comedy show on the station TBS, not only begged Ivanka Trump to try and seduce her father into changing his immigration practices, but called her a “feckless c–t” on her show.
“You know, Ivanka, that’s a beautiful photo of you and your child,” Samantha Bee said on her TBS comedy show, referring to a photo that Trump’s daughter posted on Instagram. “But let me just say, one mother to another, do something about your dad’s immigration practices you feckless c**t!”
The photo that Samantha Bee is referencing is a picture of Ivanka and her child that she tweeted out several days ago.
Nothing enrages a leftist more than seeing a happy, cohesive family enjoying their love for one another publicly, as typically those on the left have deep-seeded unhappiness, self-loathing or a low self image of themselves that manifests itself into a pure hatred of those who are happy and comfortable in their own skin.
After being widely condemned for her hateful remarks towards Ivanka, Samantha Bee issued a “sincere” apology via Twitter.
I would like to sincerely apologize to Ivanka Trump and to my viewers for using an expletive on my show to describe her last night. It was inappropriate and inexcusable. I crossed a line, and I deeply regret it.
It’s striking that so many on the left have issued apologies for their vile behaviors towards conservatives or women, yet these apologies only occur if they receive a substantial backlash for their awful remarks and show no real genuine remorse.
As of right now, Samantha Bee has not had her show canceled by TBS nor suffered any serious consequences besides a single advertiser dropping her show, AutoTrader.
Meanwhile, Roseanne Barr’s career has been decimated after she sent out a malicious tweet earlier this week attacking former Obama administration official Valeria Jarrett. Roseanne’s new sitcom on ABC had tremendous ratings and was largely considered a conservative pro-Trump television show, reaching over 25 million viewers with her first episode alone.
Roseanne found herself in a similar situation as Samantha Bee after her offensive tweet, facing a massive backlash from every direction. However, Roseanne also issued a sincere apology, just as Bee did, begged forgiveness and even stated that she was under the influence of the popular sleep aid medication Ambien when she sent the tweet about Valeria Jarrett.
The end result of each woman’s career standing, however, is very different.
Roseanne instantly had her show canceled by ABC and even stations that show re-runs of her original sitcom like TV Land have stripped those old episodes from their lineup. Roseanne was even dropped by her talent agency after her offensive tweets.
In essence, Roseanne was instantly made a social pariah and shunned by those who has she has done business with for decades. No station, producer or advertiser would dare have anything to do with Roseanne Barr at this point, her career is ruined and she is forever without chance for redemption in the eyes of the media. She may as well join Mel Gibson in the black-balled from entertainment club.
Samantha Bee, on the other hand, has mostly emerged unscathed from her hateful remarks towards Ivanka Trump and after issuing a “sincere” apology and a quick statement from TBS, it appears all is forgiven
Thus is the benefit of being a member of the Democratic Party in good standing, similar to how being a member of the Communist Party in good standing under the Soviet Union would afford you particular advantages over those who opposed communism.
The message TBS and other television stations send when they refuse to fire an employee for viciously attacking conservatives is: It’s ok if you are vile, wicked or savage as long as you are a liberal in good standing who is attacking a conservative.

“At one point a girl at my table actually had to get up and leave because video after video they showed black people being assaulted by police or black people being verbally assaulted and white people being racially biased toward people of color,” a young black female Starbucks employee told Philly Mag after being forced to take part in their “racial sensitivity” training course this week.
Starbucks billed Tuesday’s training as “one step” in addressing racial bias, and national reports have called the company’s move an “important start.” But for two Philadelphia Starbucks employees I talked to, the training merely “targeted” people of color and exacerbated racial tensions.
I spoke with the baristas separately on Tuesday evening after they attended the training at a Sheraton hotel with employees from about four districts in the region. Between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., they had sat with fellow employees listening to a few presentations, watching a number of videos, journaling, and occasionally talking to colleagues and session leaders in small self-guided groups. Both baristas told me that the training had missed the mark completely. Instead of addressing racial tension head on, the training mostly “beat around the bush,” said one of the baristas, a 24-year-old Latino man we’ll call Jamie. “I was really disappointed when I walked out of there because I was expecting so much more,” said the other barista, an 18-year-old black woman we will call Tina.
[…]”It felt like we were off task the entire time because we didn’t reflect on the situation itself,” said Tina, who has worked at Starbucks for a year. “The training materials focused a lot on police brutality, which had nothing to do with the incident that happened.”
According to Jamie, the Starbucks representatives leading the session got close to talking about the arrest of the two black men only when attendees brought it up.
The Focus on Police Brutality Was Upsetting
“The videos of cops knocking people down and fighting people were really disturbing,” Tina explained. “I told them I didn’t like the video and they told me they understood and that I was open to give my opinion.” What does watching videos about police brutality have to do with the situation that happened, Tina said she kept asking herself. “They went too deep into it and missed the point all at the same time.”

The Training Felt More Like an African-American History Class
“We got too deep into black history and got past what I thought was the point of the session,” Tina said, pointing out that one of the videos they watched went back to lunch-counter sit-ins of the 1960s.
[…]As Starbucks previously announced, the training videos featured the rapper Common, but it was unclear to the baristas why he was included. “It made it seem like they were pandering to us as a people, which is rude,” said Jamie. “What does Common know about anything that we’re going through? What does he have to do with anything?”
[…]Though Starbucks attempted to get people to confront stereotypes and unconscious biases with the new phrase, the exercise left Tina feeling singled out. “I feel like a lot of people of color were targeted [yesterday], and I know that wasn’t the whole objective of having that meeting,” said Tina. “Every activity focused on people of color and how they feel about their race.”Tina left all of the following questions in her journal blank, calling the exercise “just ridiculous.”
