Trump To Clinton On ‘BREXIT’: ‘She’s Misread This,’ As Usual

(Trump.news) Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald J. Trump nailed his likely Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, over her handling of Britain’s historic referendum on whether to remain in the European Union, saying that like so many other political issues she misjudged how important “Brexit” was to a majority of people in England.
“She’s always misread everything, if you think. She’s misread this,” Trump said on Friday from Scotland, where he was creating new jobs and commerce by opening a refurbished golf course.
As for Obama, who has been highly critical of him, Trump said the president’s threat in April — that if Britons chose to leave the EU the United States would put England “at the back of the queue” when it came to international trade deals — likely pushed the Brexit vote higher.
Trump stated that Obama is “constantly dictating to the world what they should do. The world doesn’t listen to him, obviously. You can see that from the vote. I actually think his recommendation … caused it to fail.”
The billionaire businessman also suggested that Clinton backed Obama’s play, in part, because ultimately the decision will be up to him whether or not she is indicted for alleged violations of U.S. intelligence statutes over her use of a personal, unsecured email server as his secretary of state.
“The only reason she did it is because Obama wanted it,” he said of Clinton’s anti-exit advocacy. “If Obama wanted it the other way, if he said ‘Leave,’ she would have said ‘Leave.’ She does whatever he wants her to do.
“And you know why,” he added.
“I was actually very surprised that President Obama would’ve come over here and he would have been so bold as to tell the people over here what to do,” Trump continued.
“And I think that a lot of people don’t like him, and a lot of people voted – if he had not said it, I think the result might have been different. I thought it was inappropriate, and then [Clinton] doubled down and she did the same thing,” Trump said.
“And obviously, for the 219th time, they were wrong. They’re always wrong. And that’s the problem with them.”
A President Trump, he said, would not belittle or threaten Britain, but instead embrace it as the U.S. has historically done, as well as bolster military and commercial ties.
His administration would “strengthen our ties with a free and independent Britain, deepening our bonds in commerce, culture and mutual defense.
“The whole world is more peaceful and stable,” he noted, “when our two countries – and our two peoples – are united together, as they will be under a Trump administration.”
Though the left-wing media continues to portray Trump’s interest in regaining control over U.S. borders and slowing or stopping immigration from terrorism hotbeds in the Middle East, he believes that EU policies that promote borderless countries and nonstop immigration from Muslim countries into Britain also contributed to the Brexit vote. And he predicted that issue would also propel him into the White House.
“Come November, the American people will have the chance to re-declare their independence,” he said. “Americans will have a chance to vote for trade, immigration and foreign policies that put our citizens first. I hope America is watching.”

Donald Trump News For June 23, 2016

(Trump.news) Despite earning a multimillion dollar income from speeches to big banks (that she says she’ll ‘rein in’), presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has lost confidence of investors, perhaps because they sense she is really a big government liberal posing as a pragmatic centrist. Whom do they trust more? Likely GOP presidential nominee Donald J. Trump. As reported by Bloomberg News:
More voters with a stake in the stock market say Donald Trump would be better as president for their portfolios than Hillary Clinton, with about one in four saying they’ll alter their asset mix if the Republican is elected and a similar share saying they’d do so if the Democrat wins.
A Bloomberg/Morning Consult national poll on investment, tax and economic issues shows voters with money in the market pick Trump over Clinton, 50 percent to 33 percent, as the person they think will be better for their portfolio. Those with more than $50,000 invested answer the question almost identically as smaller investors.
Partisanship is a driving force for their choices. Nearly eight in 10 Republicans say Trump would be better for their holdings, while about six in 10 Democrats say Clinton would. Independent voters are twice as likely to pick Trump as better for their portfolios.
Why? His business acumen, of course – the same acumen Clinton has criticized but does not have since she’s never run a business in her life. Read the full Bloomberg report here.
Fundraising is coming along: The latest “issue” GOP elites have with Trump is his lack of campaign money in the bank – which he has said is not a problem. But no matter; since Tuesday the Trump campaign has managed to rake in $11 million – not bad for a two-day haul – as reported by CNN:
Donald Trump and his joint fundraising committee have raised at least $11 million since Tuesday morning, Republicans said Wednesday, a tremendously quick haul that comes amid concerns about his fundraising ability.
Trump Victory, the joint fundraising account with the Republican National Committee, and Trump’s official campaign raised $5 million online since Tuesday morning, when it sent one of its first fundraising pitches to its email list, according to Sean Spicer, an RNC spokesman.
And that doesn’t include the $2 million in matching funds Trump said he would kick in. Read further details here.
Hardly a fan of Republicans or Trump, at least one writer over at that Left-wing hate site Slate is worried that the GOP candidate’s revealing speech against Clinton this week was very “terrifyingly effective” – that piece is here. But there are some factual errors that need to be cleared up here – and as usual, the Left-wing media hate machine is spinning out of control in its effort to discredit Trump.
One issue in particular is something that Trump brought up during his speech Tuesday: That at one point, Trump said, citing Schweizer, “Hillary Clinton’s State Department approved the transfer of 20 percent of America’s uranium holdings to Russia, while nine investors in the deal funneled $145 million to the Clinton Foundation.” Slate says not true and that the story has been “debunked” many times.
Actually, Trump is exactly right. From an April 23, 2015 New York Times report:
As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.
And shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock.
Some of the connections between Uranium One and the Clinton Foundation were unearthed by Peter Schweizer, a former fellow at the right-leaning Hoover Institution and author of the forthcoming book “Clinton Cash.” Mr. Schweizer provided a preview of material in the book to The Times, which scrutinized his information and built upon it with its own reporting.
Whether the donations played any role in the approval of the uranium deal is unknown. But the episode underscores the special ethical challenges presented by the Clinton Foundation, headed by a former president who relied heavily on foreign cash to accumulate $250 million in assets even as his wife helped steer American foreign policy as secretary of state, presiding over decisions with the potential to benefit the foundation’s donors.
Who’s lying, Schweitzer, The New York Times, and Trump – or Slate and the other Left-wing hate sites? You be the judge. The rest of the Times story is here.

OUTRAGE: Republican Establishment Threatens Trump With Lawsuit Over Muslim Ban After A Terror Attack But Does NOTHING To Stop Obama’s Unconstitutional Immigration Edicts

WRITTEN BY: JD HEYES JUNE 20, 2016

(Trump.news) After presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald J. Trump vanquished 16 other Republican presidential contenders, conservative pundits — slowly but surely — began to figure out that the billionaire businessman has rewritten presidential campaign doctrine, overturning just about every “norm” there is when it comes to seeking the highest office in America.
You’d think that would make the Republican establishment happy, considering Trump has managed to turn out a record number of GOP primary voters, something no other Republican candidate in modern history has managed to do.
But they’re not. Instead, they continue to take pot shots attheir own party’s presumptive leader as well as work to undermine him at virtually every turn – then complain that he’s not “uniting the party” like he should when they are the ones keeping it divided.
All that aside, the latest insult not only to Trump and his candidacy but to the tens of millions of Republican base voters, comes from none other than House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., who on Friday actually threatened to sue a President Trump if he moves to restrict Muslim immigration into the country on the grounds that, in the age of terrorism, the federal government is unable to vet many of them properly and thus reduce the risk of more attacks (since every single one of the last terrorist attacks on our soil have been committed by radical Islamic extremists).
Unbelievable. And unprecedented.
As reported by Left-leaning web site Talking Points Memo:
“I would sue any president that exceeds his or her powers,” Ryan said in a back-and-forth about Trump’s claims that he could implement a Muslim ban or build a Mexican border wall without congressional approval.
Ryan said he wasn’t sure of the “legal question” of whether Trump could institute a Muslim ban on his own as president.
“That’s a legal question that there’s a good debate about,” he said, citing the 1952 Immigration and Nationality Act.
“On the broader question, are we going to exert our Article I powers and reclaim this Article I power no matter who the president is? Absolutely,” Ryan said. He also said he discussed the limits of the executive power with Trump.
On Trump’s plan to ban Muslim immigration to the U.S., why is Ryan silent on the fact that Obama has done that very thing with Iraqi refugees, on recommendation from his intelligence agencies? Where was Ryan’s outrage then? Did he plan to sue?
Also, that last part about Congress re-exerting its Article I powers is especially rich, given that the Republican-controlled body has never done that with Obama, even when he has clearly exceeded hisconstitutional authorities. Oh, the GOP has gone to court, sure, but the Constitution doesn’t say “the Legislative Branch shall appeal to the Judicial Branch” to rein in an out-of-control president. Congress can defund a president’s initiatives, it can pass alternate legislation and it can impeach – none of which has been employed against Obama.
Ryan says he doesn’t want to see another Democrat in the White House. Fair enough. But if that’s so, then why does he attack and threaten his own party’s nominee more than he does the Democrat in the Oval Office and the one running against Trump?
This is more than just bizarre. It is outrageous, and Ryan – not Trump – needs to walk himself back.

Donald Trump News For June 20, 2016

(Trump.news) Records will be shattered: Presumptive GOP nominee Donald J. Trump’s introduction into the 2016 Republican presidential race led to record numbers – of primary voters, of television coverage during debates, of the amount of money in free press he was given. Now, with the major parties set to formally pick their nominees in the next several weeks at their respective conventions, the networks are already salivating over the prospect of presidential debates between Trump and his likely opponent, Hillary Clinton. As per Bloomberg News:
Matthew Shields knows what he’ll be doing after work on the last Monday in September. “It’s going to be hilarious,” the Los Angeles hairstylist says. “I can’t wait.”
That may not be the appraisal a republic would prefer regarding any aspect of a campaign for the highest office in the land, but Shields speaks for many who are already breathless about the presidential debates. They’ll likely pit Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, against Hillary Clinton, who has sewn up the Democratic delegate count. He has called her a “fraud” with “zero natural talent” who should be in prison. She has said he is “temperamentally unfit” with “dangerously incoherent” ideas and “not someone who should ever have the nuclear codes.” That was all in about 24 hours. They haven’t even stepped onto the same stage yet.
“People are expecting a brawl,” says Allen Adamson, a former executive with the branding firm Landor Associates. “Nothing attracts viewers like a brawl.”
Some are even predicting the match-ups could rival viewership for the Super Bowl. No kidding. Read the full report here.
Hold the high court: As an aside, the Washington Examiner had a piece this morning by Paul Beddard speculating that constitutional originalist Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas may be the next retiree from the bench, and that it could happen after the presidential race is decided in November:
Justice Clarence Thomas, a reliable conservative vote on the Supreme Court, is mulling retirement after the presidential election, according to court watchers.
Thomas, appointed by former President George H.W. Bush and approved by the Senate after a bitter confirmation, has been considering retirement for a while and never planned to stay until he died, they said. He likes to spend summers in his RV with his wife.
His retirement would have a substantial impact on control of the court. The next president is expected to immediately replace the seat opened by the death of conservative Justice Antonin Scalia, providing a one-vote edge in the court that is currently divided 4-4.
Should Thomas leave, that slight majority would continue if Donald Trump becomes president. If it’s Hillary Clinton, then she would get the chance to flip two Republican seats, giving the liberals a 6-3 majority.
That would be a disaster for freedom-loving constitutionalists throughout the country, from eitherparty. Read how long the shift could last, here. Another reason to vote for Trump, who has released a list of men and women he would likely nominate for the high court, and they are constitutionalists.
Adding to his platform: Trump has always said he is a different kind of Republican and he demonstrated that again this weekend with a series of formal policy proposals, though he has already mentioned most of them in the past: Save Social Security and Medicare, and cut taxes. As Breitbart News columnist Patrick Howley notes, based on polling data, that platform is nearly unbeatable:
Republican candidate Donald Trump focused this weekend on his economic platform: Cut taxes and regulations across the board while also saving Social Security, Medicare, and other government safety-net programs.
Trump’s platform is nearly invincible in the general election if he stresses it enough, polling shows. Trump’s plan will also have a transformational effect on how people view his party. But he still needs to make the accounting work to ensure that his Third Way platform is feasible.
“We’re going to save your Social Security without killing it like so many people want to do. And your Medicare,” Trump said this weekend at a rally in Phoenix, which followed a rally in Las Vegas where he also highlighted Social Security. Trump is only starting to focus on the issue, but he’s been aware of its political potential at least since the Wisconsin primary, when he taunted conservative-movement candidate Ted Cruz and establishment rival John Kasich: “If we don’t make the country rich again, you’re going to have your Social Security cut by Cruz and Katich.”

Donald Trump News For June 13, 2016

(Trump.news) Not one to use a crucial moment to push a political agenda like our president, but presumptive GOP nominee Donald J. Trump nevertheless reminded the country that he  – not Obama or presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton – is the one who has been calling for caution when it comes to admitting migrants from terrorist-sponsoring nations into our country. In a series of tweets, he took credit “for being right on radical Islamic terrorism” and wondered if Obama would even mention the phrase (he didn’t). “If he doesn’t he should immediately resign in disgrace!” Trump tweeted, but of course that won’t happen.
For the record, Obama laments all of these “mass shootings” and loves to use each tragedy to push his favorite political agenda – gun control – and did so again yesterday. But the fact is, these are happening on his watch and yet somehow the hapless, sycophantic legacy media can’t seem to make the connection. If anything, Trump is right – Obama bears at least some responsibility for this terror-related carnage, none of which happened on his predecessor’s watch.

The Orlando attack could help

That said, a former Israeli ambassador to the United States believes the Orlando attack will ultimately help Trump more than it will hurt him. As reported by Breitbart News:
The Orlando attack, in which first generation U.S. citizen Omar Sadiqqui Mateen shot at least 50 people in a gay club, will help Donald Trump’s chances of becoming president, Israel’s former ambassador to the U.S. said.
“If the motive for this mass killing had been hatred for the LGBT community, this would have played to Hillary Clinton’s benefit,” said Michael Oren, who now serves as a member of Knesset from the center-right Kulanu party.
“Given that it is becoming clear that the motive is Islamist-jihadist, it will benefit Donald Trump,” Oren told Israel’s Channel 10 news Sunday.
“This will greatly strengthen him.”
Oren also said that Trump has yet to take full advantage of the situation to gain the political upper hand.
Read more of Oren’s comments and observations here.

The political realm

In the political realm, other things happened over the weekend. For one, Trump called for unity within the GOP, and pointed out that the party risked losing the Senate, at least, if it did not coalesce around him and a singular agenda – beating Hillary Clinton and her Left-wing extremism. As reported by The Associated Press:
Campaigning in the crucial battleground state of Florida, Donald Trump bashed Democrats and Republicans alike Saturday, from Hillary Clinton to former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney on the right.
Addressing a crowd of thousands at the Tampa Convention Center, Trump tore into “Crooked Hillary,” as he calls his likely general election opponent, over her use of a private email server while secretary of state. He called Romney a “stone, cold loser” for not backing him as the presumptive Republican nominee.
Trump said the Republican Party “has got to get their act together, come together to win.” He slammed Republicans in the U.S. Senate who oppose his candidacy.
There’s much more on this story, here.

‘Serious change agent’

Offering a little criticism but mostly good advice to Trump, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told CNN’s Erin Burnett that the GOP’s presumptive nominee could become a serious “change agent,” but that he needs to “run a credible thoughtful campaign” and “demonstrate the seriousness that people expect of their president.”
Here’s a partial exchange:
BURNETT: And this – this issue, though, uh, with the judge has – has caused some in your party, Senator, of course, to – to question Donald Trump in ways he has not been questioned before. Senator Mark Kirk, the first, uh, Congressional lawmaker to withdraw his support from Trump. Bob Corker, also supporting Trump, as you know, said yesterday that Trump has two to three weeks to turn things around, uh, the – the hanging thought there, ostensibly that Corker, uh, could then jump ship.
Is there anything Trump could do that would get you to rescind your endorsement?
MCCONNELL: Well, look, he’s been chosen by the Republican primary voters all across America. He – he won it the old-fashioned way, he got more votes than anybody else. So he’s going to be the nominee.
What most of us would like to see is him run the kind of campaign that gives him a chance for victory, because we don’t think four more years just like the last eight are good for the country. And Hillary Clinton will be four more years just like the last eight. If people are satisfied with where America is today, they think this is as good as we can do, then they probably ought to vote for Hillary Clinton.

Donald Trump News For June 8, 2016

(Trump.news) Record setter: Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald J. Trump was already setting turnout records when he began a series of primaries to vanquish a crowded field of Republican contenders, and in the end, he set a national turnout record for Republican voters, by an astounding 1.4 million. As reported by The Gateway Pundit:
On Tuesday Donald Trump closed the door on the Republican nomination for President by winning all five of the remaining primaries — New Jersey, South Dakota, Montana, New Mexico and California. Trump won the last 16 Republican contests.
Trump has 1,536 delegates and counting.
Trump has more wins than any other Republican or Democrat candidate in this year’s race with 36. He also has more primary wins with 33 and leads all candidates in percent of overall wins and in percent of primary wins. The Pundit has much more good news to report, here.
He’s just getting started: Now that Hillary Clinton has clinched the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination (unofficially), Trump will be turning all of his attention to her. In fact, he plans a “major speech” next week, probably on Monday, in which he plans to excoriate her for her [alleged] corruption and dishonesty while serving as President Obama’s secretary of state. From The Daily Mail:
Donald Trump turned the corner on a vicious presidential primary process Tuesday night, pledging to visit a new round of political horrors on Hillary and Bill Clinton.
The Republican presidential nominee-in-waiting said that ‘probably Monday of next week’ he would deliver a ‘major speech’ featuring a discussion of ‘all of the things that have taken place with the Clintons.’
“I think you’re going to find it very informative and very, very interesting,’ he said, sporting an impish grin. ‘I wonder if the press wil want to atend. Who knows?
“The Clintons have turned the politics of personal enrichment into an art form for themselves,’ he claimed on the night when the final gusher of GOP convention delegates hit his campaign.
“They’ve made hundreds of millions of dollars selling access, selling favors, selling government contracts. And I mean hundreds of millions of dollars.”
The Donald has much more to say, and the Daily Mail has it all, here.
A toned-down Donald Trump, in a bid to appear more presidential and ease GOP jitters, has pledged to make the party proud. As noted by Rebecca Berg over at RealClearPolitics:
A chastened Donald Trump marked the final batch of primary contests Tuesday by attempting to shift to the general election in style and substance, following weeks of controversy and missteps that knocked his campaign off course.
“Tonight we close one chapter in history and begin another,” the presumptive GOP nominee said.
Speaking from his golf club in Westchester, N.Y., with the aid of teleprompters, a rare move for the celebrity businessman who lives off-script, Trump said it would be an “honor to lead the Republican Party to victory this fall.”
“I understand the responsibility of carrying the mantle, and I will never ever let you down,” he continued. “I will make you proud of our party and our movement.”
There is much more regarding Trump’s strategy moving forward, and Berg has it here.
Talk-show giant and constitutional expert Mark Levin wasn’t too impressed with Trump’s comments about the “Mexican” federal judge who is presiding over a case involving lawsuits against Trump University, but he also wanted to know why GOP Establishment leaders went out of their way to complain about his comments, all while giving Obama (and Hillary) a virtual pass on the nasty things they have said and done, recently and in the past. Per Conservative Review, where Levin is managing editor:
This is the time Republicans should be united in attacking Hillary Clinton, Levin said. But “that’s not taking place.”
“It’s quite a little mess we have on our hands, isn’t it?”
You can listen to Levin’s radio segment on this subject here.
