#BritishIndependence Trends on Twitter

There is nothing wrong with wanting Britain to be independent of the European Union. Some Remainers, however, disagree.

Sargon making a good - logical- point in this 9 min video, although I would say he downplays certain atrocities that did occur under the Empire - and yet atrocities have always been committed by civilisations throughout time.

The big problem with the EU is when we have an unelected body making laws that effects your country. How do you vote these people out if you feel like you are being oppressed? Do member states effectively lobby in order to control what gets passed as Law and what gets stopped (remember the UK fishing rights issue, where they have no rights)? How long will people go along with oppressive Laws that are sold to you because it is for the 'good of the collective' etc? What sort of debate does one have about this vs the unelected body?
