Disclaimer: I am not pro-slavery, I am simply arguing against the myths about it, that whites gained from it or that whites owe something for it.
I certainly don't think public schools should be segregated, but I think people should be allowed freedom of association via private schools, private clubs, etc. Integration should not be forced in private settings, for example, rich neighborhoods should not be forced to have low income residents. All black colleges as public institutions should be done away with, but an all white television channel by a private company would be OK, just like BET. I also think discrimination in public spaces based on political beliefs (a choice) should be outlawed, just as discrimination in public spaces based on religious beliefs (a choice) is against the law. Consistency in all things is all I want. Sounds fair to me.
