In yet another example of the clear bias running through the establishment media, the Washington Post has hired longtime Clinton operative John Podesta as a contributing columnist. The move comes at a time when a vast majority of the American people are already suspicious of establishment news outlets and their obvious leftist bias.
“Podesta, who also served as chief of staff to President Bill Clinton and a counselor to President Barack Obama, has recently written two op-eds for the Post,” reported Politico.
“The first, published in December, was about the the FBI’s investigation into Russian hacking of the Democratic National Committee. The second, published last week, was about President Donald Trump’s penchant for dismissing all criticism of himself as fake news.”
A laughable statement by Post Editorial Page Editor Free Hiatt regarding the hiring claims that public Clinton shill Podesta will somehow offer readers “vital” insight.
“No one knows more about how Washington works, how the White House operates, and how policy ideas are translated into reality than John Podesta,” read the statement. “His long experience in Congress, inside two Democratic White Houses and on the front lines of numerous presidential campaigns, will offer readers vital insight into Washington and politics at the start of a new era."
So there you have it, the establishment Washington Post is now paying John Podesta to spread his Clinton-backed disinformation. Corporate media bias doesn’t get much more transparent than this.
Interestingly, this hire is also an important development in the deep states overall attack on all things Trump, especially when you consider that the owner of the Washington Post has a contract with the CIA worth over 500 millions dollars.
