A lady dressed from head to toe purple sweats disrupted the Electoral College vote in Wisconsin after they all pledged their 10 collective votes behind Donald J. Trump for President of the United States of America. She erupted with cries of "You're pathetic. You don't deserve to be in America!" "This is my America!" A spattering of a few other protesters chanted "shame, shame, shame", apparently in support of the woman. It was a very strange sight, but not something that is as bad as the other “protests” that have been happening around the nation since Donald Trump has been running for President.
Now that Trump has won, the prevailing thought from many people in the country - especially those on the left - is that these types of protests will not only continue, but they will ramp up in intensity. Hopefully, this is not the case. If that does happen, it may not be for long. Once Trump becomes President and starts to make good on many campaign promises, the angry person who wants to protest may not want to protest anymore. They may fall in line and appreciate the United States again.
