The Digital Iron Curtain: How Censorship Shapes the Modern World

The Digital Iron Curtain: How Censorship Shapes the Modern World

Censorship isn’t just about banning books or silencing individuals—it’s about controlling narratives, shaping public perception, and ultimately influencing reality itself. Today, big tech giants, government agencies, and media conglomerates work together in ways that previous authoritarian regimes could only dream of. Whether through algorithmic suppression, "fact-checking" propaganda, or outright bans, we are witnessing a full-scale war on free speech.

This article explores the many faces of modern censorship, drawing from real-world cases and investigative sources that have exposed how information control operates today.

1. The Search Engine Manipulation Effect: Big Tech’s Invisible Hand

One of the most insidious forms of censorship is not outright deletion but the quiet manipulation of search results. Google, the world’s largest gateway to information, has been caught biasing results to favor certain narratives while suppressing others.

  • The Search Engine Manipulation Effect (SEME), first identified by Dr. Robert Epstein, shows that search results can subtly influence users' beliefs without them even realizing it. This tactic has been used to sway elections, suppress dissent, and reinforce mainstream media narratives.

  • Google has denied these accusations, but counter-investigations have easily debunked their excuses—showing clear political bias and active suppression of alternative viewpoints. Read more here:
    http://mindtreasury.blogspot.com/2023/04/the-search-engine-manipulation-effect.html

  • This bias extends to platforms like Wikipedia, where pages discussing controversial topics are regularly edited or renamed to downplay dissenting views. Even discussions on 9/11 controlled demolition theories have been altered to reduce credibility. Details on that here:
    http://911debunkers.blogspot.com/2009/04/wikipedia-renames-911-controlled.html

2. Government & Corporate Collusion: Who Decides What You See?

Censorship isn’t just the work of private corporations—government agencies actively fund and coordinate these efforts. A recent investigation exposed USAID's role in working with the BBC to control global narratives, effectively laundering censorship through "trusted" media sources.

3. The Blacklisting of Independent Media

Mainstream platforms claim to promote "accuracy," but in reality, independent voices are deliberately demonetized, blacklisted, and buried under algorithms. Even major outlets that once criticized government overreach now enforce these speech controls.

4. The Future: A World Where Only "Approved" Speech Exists?

What’s next? If current trends continue, we are heading toward a world where:

  • Governments and corporations openly decide which viewpoints are "acceptable."
  • Alternative media is fully erased, leaving only state-approved narratives.
  • Search engines manipulate reality itself by hiding dissenting information.

The internet was supposed to be the great equalizer—a place where information was free and unrestricted. Instead, it has become a battleground for control over human thought.

Want proof? Even discussions on censorship itself are now being censored. Just look at how difficult it is to even talk about these topics online.

For more resources on how censorship is shaping our world, check out these investigations:

Final Thoughts: Can This Trend Be Stopped?

The only way to break free from censorship is through awareness and action. People must:

  • Seek out independent media instead of relying on censored platforms.
  • Expose censorship whenever it happens.
  • Support free speech initiatives and alternative tech platforms.

The battle for free speech is the battle for reality itself. If we let a handful of corporations and bureaucrats decide what can and cannot be said, we are surrendering our right to think freely.

The digital iron curtain is here—will we break through it, or let it close in around us?

Documenting the Censorship of My Music and Message

Documenting the Censorship of My Music and Message

For years, I’ve been documenting the censorship of my blogs, and my voice... and now my music. It’s not paranoia—it’s pattern recognition. And I’ve got the receipts.

Every time I start gaining traction—whether it’s through a post, a song, or a sudden surge in subscribers—it's followed by a quick and quiet takedown. Just recently, I posted in Facebook groups using a friend’s account (since creating a new one gets me instantly banned). I saw my YouTube subscribers spike from 42 to 137. A couple hours later? Slashed right back down to 42.

This isn’t a one-off event. It’s happened over and over again. Another day, it went from 42 to 68, then back to 42. Same pattern. Same silencing. It’s predictable at this point—but I don’t just talk about it. I document it.

Songs as Proof—Music as Evidence

A lot of the censorship has been baked right into the music itself—both lyrically and visually.

“Censorship Global (Arrested Over Facebook)”
https://youtu.be/0jqkU1k-grs
This track highlights a case of overseas censorship that led to an arrest, while weaving in personal censorship I’ve experienced.

“Censored via Screenshot (Lil Durk Sample)”
https://youtube.com/shorts/n_HkJGav5Ls
This short packs about 40 censorship screenshots layered over a Lil Durk clip to show how this suppression plays out in real time.

“Subscribers Cut in Half”
https://youtu.be/NeFApZZO5fQ
This track was born directly out of a subscriber purge. Screenshots and commentary show how blatant the sabotage is.

“Censorship in Lyrics and Visuals”
https://youtu.be/jsdT7T0Yvrs
Another music video where the theme of digital suppression is interlaced into both the lyrics and visuals, with receipts on screen.

Blog Posts That Back It All Up

I don’t just leave the proof in songs. I’ve been blogging about this for years—Google-hosted blogs, ironically enough—where I’ve documented this digital iron curtain from every angle.

Even blog search engines are burying posts. I know what I’ve written, and I can tell it’s not all showing up in results.

Court-Ordered to Censor Myself Over Sandy Hook
http://911debunkers.blogspot.com/2020/05/911debunkersblogspotcom-censored-via.html
Yes, a court order forced me to censor myself for writing about Sandy Hook. That alone should tell you how real and targeted this censorship is.

Psychological Tactics in Social Media Engagement

It’s not always about deleting content or banning users. Sometimes the silencing is subtle—psychological. One trick I’ve seen firsthand: a video will get a large number of views, but almost no likes or comments. That’s not natural—it’s engineered.

Platforms may inflate views to create an illusion of reach while suppressing engagement to demoralize creators. It's a tactic designed to make you doubt your message, question your value, and give up. I used to work for an independent newspaper, and even back then, the founder of the paper told me these kinds of games were being played. It’s psychological warfare—another tool in the censorship toolbox.

Censorship Evidence at 9/11 Debunkers Blog
http://911debunkers.blogspot.com/2023/04/censorship-epidemic-presented-by-kevin.html
http://911debunkers.blogspot.com/2020/05/911debunkersblogspotcom-censored-via.html
The 9/11 Debunkers blog contains extensive censorship documentation, though I can’t even say for sure how much—it’s clear posts have been buried or scrubbed from results. That, in itself, is more proof.

My Testimony Is Documentation

I’ve lost at least seven YouTube channels—including one that was monetized and another that was just about to be. One of them was taken down for COVID-19 claims that later turned out to be accurate, yet I never got the channel back. That’s the reality we’re dealing with.

Call to Action

If you believe in free speech… If you’re tired of watching creators silenced for telling the truth… If you want to hear the kind of music that gets you banned from Big Tech platforms then speak out on this issue and contact your representatives in government. Also...

TikTok's Censorship Crisis: Acting Like Publishers While Suppressing Free Speech

TikTok's Censorship Crisis: Acting Like Publishers While Suppressing Free Speech

Platforms like TikTok are increasingly behaving like publishers rather than neutral platforms, using this position to justify rampant censorship. The U.S. Supreme Court has consistently ruled that the First Amendment protects even the most controversial speech, asserting “freedom for the thought that we hate.” Cases such as Matal v. Tam (2017) and Snyder v. Phelps emphasize that viewpoint discrimination is unconstitutional, even in cases of offensive or unpopular ideas.

Yet TikTok, shielded by Section 230 protections, acts with publisher-like authority to silence voices under the guise of community guidelines. The platform’s actions contradict the constitutional principles of free speech, raising serious questions about their unchecked power.

Trump’s Role and TikTok’s Hypocrisy

In 2020, TikTok faced a U.S. ban due to national security concerns. Former President Donald Trump, known for his anti-censorship stance, brokered a deal that allowed TikTok to continue operating. Ironically, the platform persisted in its heavy-handed censorship practices, leaving users asking, “Am I being censored?” (Reuters).

Adding to the hypocrisy, TikTok, which has a notorious record of censorship, recently argued that its own ban violates free speech and due process (Infowars). How can a platform with such egregious censorship policies claim to be a victim of the very free speech principles it consistently violates?

A Pattern of Censorship

TikTok has been accused of suppressing content on a massive scale, from conspiracy theories to politically sensitive topics. Its moderation practices frequently blur the line between protecting users and silencing dissent:

  1. Content Removal: TikTok removes videos promoting conspiracy theories, even if they are later proven to have merit. (Technology Review)
  2. Shadowbanning: Many creators allege that TikTok’s algorithm limits the reach of controversial content, making it nearly impossible for certain ideas to gain traction. (Medium)
  3. Discriminatory Moderation: Reports reveal that TikTok has instructed moderators to suppress content from users deemed unattractive, disabled, or critical of authoritarian regimes like China. (The Intercept)

Dangerous Arbiters of Truth

TikTok’s role as a self-appointed arbiter of truth is troubling, especially given the large number of conspiracy theories that have turned out to be valid. From health policies to political scandals, the platform’s insistence on controlling narratives stifles critical thought and healthy debate. As one blogger noted, “Censorship on TikTok sets a dangerous precedent by suppressing inconvenient truths under the guise of misinformation” (911 Debunkers Blogspot).

Additionally, concerns about foreign influence loom large. Given TikTok’s Chinese ownership, critics fear that the platform censors content unfavorable to the Chinese government, raising questions about its role in global discourse (Wikipedia).

Working Toward Solutions

To combat TikTok’s censorship crisis, users and activists must take action:

  1. Create Alternative Platforms: Support decentralized platforms where free speech is prioritized.
  2. Spread Awareness: Use TikTok itself to expose its censorship policies, as some users have already done (911 Truth Activism).
  3. Push for Reform: Advocate for updated legislation that ensures social media platforms cannot exploit Section 230 while acting like publishers.
  4. Diversify Content Streams: Use multiple platforms to ensure important messages are not silenced.

TikTok’s unchecked power underscores the urgent need to safeguard free speech in the digital age. As users, creators, and advocates for truth, we must hold these platforms accountable for their actions and demand a fair and open digital space.

How to Fight Censorship

The late Andrew Breitbart in his book Righteous Indignation perfectly captured the essence of the press in America when he labeled the press as being a Democrat-Media-Complex. Writing in Righteous Indignation, Breitbart noted that, “the left doesn’t win its battles in debate. It doesn’t have to. In the 21st century, media is everything. The left wins because it controls the narrative. The narrative is controlled by the media. The left is the media and narrative is everything.”

The people who are allegedly neutral reporters and journalists are on the frontline of the political battle and they use their objectivity as their greatest weapon against impressionable minds to reinforce a herd mentality that toes the Democrat party line within the culture. As Breitbart continued, “the mainstream media portrays themselves as objective observers of reality when they’re no such thing —they’re partisan critical theory hacks who think they can destroy everything America stands for by standing on the sidelines and sniping at patriotic Americans with all their favorite slurs. They have nothing but contempt for the American people.”

https://politicallyshort.com/2016/06/26/the-democrat-media-complex/

The recent wave of censorship is massive and unprecedented. It is important to understand that by and large it is being aimed at conservatives and those who analyze evidence of criminal conspiracies and expose deep corruption, often labeled with the CIA created and weaponized term of derision "conspiracy theorist."

Here is the indisputable proof regarding motivation...

An emergency report to Congress and to the president concerning Big Tech, the Democrats and the Deep State’s plan to kill the First Amendment in America
This key report, prepared for lawmakers and for President Trump, serves as a roadmap on how tech giants covertly silence online speech – and how America can fight back against these monopolists working in sync with corporate media and left-leaning “fact checking” sites.
To date, no one has assembled a comprehensive compendium of the aggressive censorship strategies and mechanisms now being deployed against users being targeted by the tech giants. This document aims to serve as a primer “blueprint” to explain both the motivations behind the extreme censorship as well as the technical/mechanical means through which such censorship is carried out.
This document should be required reading for any lawmaker or government official interested in protecting the freedom of speech that has served as a critical pillar in our society for over two centuries.

The following is a letter to send to your representatives from Vincent James. Also, if you are able, physical letters have more impact, just as phone calls do over emails.
LETTER FORMAT AND LINK MENTIONED:

Here you go guys! https://www.commoncause.org/find-your-representative/addr/ - call your congressman and senators, write them and tell them that

Dear mrs/mrs

I am asking your help to solve one of the biggest issues facing America today. That issue is powerful monopolies limiting and controlling what the average young American citizen can and cannot say.

You must realize that around 90% of conversations that happen in America happen online, and because of this, the 1st amendment has to evolve to encompass the conversations that happen on the top 2 social media platforms which are controlled and owned by these same monopolies. Just as the second amendment has evolved to protect the right to own and bear modern weaponry, the first must evolve to protect modern speech and conversation. These monopolies not only go against American law, but they are now in complete control of how we as American citizens, can express our opinions openly in the new public town square that is the internet.

Just as the private cable company, electric company, gas company and water company cannot refuse you service because of your political and social beliefs, so should these monopolized social media companies that we the people made famous and are now turning on the citizens.

And since our government refuses to hold them to antitrust legislation, refuses to break up these monopolies, allows them to avoid the free market that made this country great, just as the government tells private companies what to do all the time, we the people demand that you render these companies public utilities.

We demand THIS NOW OR WE DEMAND an internet bill of rights

Thanks you

Sincerely

****** IMPORTANT TIPS!!!!! *******

1) You must give your contact information in order for you comment or question to be filed/responded to. If the office can not verify that you are a constituent ( you don’t really have to give your full name, Mr. Smith will do…but you do need to provide a local address) they aren’t likely file or answer your inquiry. (And for the record this isn’t them just blowing you off , there are actually really strict rules regarding the amount of time and effort a congressional office can invest in a person who is not his or her constituent).

2) When you write a letter make it known that you would like a response, and put your comment in a question format so the member has something to respond to. For example : instead of stating “ I would like you to support an internet bill of rights” say something like: “ As your constituent I support an internet bill of rights, and I would like to know where you stand on this issue?” Questions get sent to the DC office to be answered (that’s where your member most likely is anyway)

3) When you make a call don’t just state your opinion, ask a question. The question is crucial to getting a response and getting your member to invest some time thinking about your inquiry. If you leave a voicemail be sure to leave an address and at least a last name so the inquiry can be filed. Again, like the letter, you want your call to be filed and sent to the DC office for a response, not just filed and closed.

Don't Despair, Get Physically Active and Defend the First Amendment, They Can't Censor Us in the Real World!

We have NO VOICE! We are the threat to their DEMOCKERY! Your channel comments are down because We, the viewers, are being shadow banned: not you. You guys need to start the class action law suit against Google/YouTube including all the content creators who have lost their channels and viewers who have been shadow censored. There must be hundreds of thousands of Us. YouTube needs to be nationalized as a utility.

I have been shadow censored for the last year. My meaningful YouTube comments were only visible to me when I was logged in. Then, they were at the top with no replies or up votes, even after being there for months. When I logged out and went back, they disappeared. And recently, there are NO COMMENTS visible on any YT videos, whether I'm logged in or not. They're preventing my speech and my ability to read comments. Is this happening to you? I'll gladly join any class action law suit. Who's with me?

I've experienced similar things to you. I was also kicked off of YouTube after criticizing the Black Panther movie too much in one day apparently. No specific explanation was given to me as to why. As far as a lawsuit, here is some info to look in to...

I think we all need to fight back off the internet way more than is taking place currently... Passing out fliers, sticking infowars stickers in public places, calling offices of government representatives and setting up face to face meetings, making self-published "zines" to pass out or sell, physical protests in the streets with activism groups that can be found on meetup.com and other places, etc. Not saying to give up online activism, but they can't censor us in the real world!

If Google and Facebook are not regulated, their politically-motivated censorship will drive America to open warfare in the streets

Tuesday, August 15, 2017 by

The violence on America’s streets must end, and that means the overt censorship of conservative voices by Google, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter must also end. It is time to regulate internet gatekeepers and outlaw their politically-motivated censorship of anyone who doesn’t conform to the obedient cult-like demands of the intolerant Left.
The events over the past few days have proven beyond any doubt that the bias, distortions and lies of the left-wing media are far more dangerous to America than any violent individual whacko. The very same media that celebrated President Obama following every outbreak of Black Lives Matter violence in America somehow condemns Trump when a mentally ill individual with a history of psychiatric medications goes off the deep end and commits murder. Yet to hear the left-wing media tell the story, somehow it’s all Trump’s fault.
“Political totalitarianism is coming to America, and it is being ushered in not by government thugs in jackboots but by progressive activists and their allies in Silicon Valley,” warns Lifezette.com. “In a chilling oped published in The New York Times on July 14, Lisa Feldman Barrett, a professor of psychology at Northeastern University, argued that so-called “hate speech” is the same thing as physical violence because it may possibly cause emotionally fragile individuals stress — and should be made illegal.”
The echo chamber of the illogical, irrational and enraged Left — the liberal mob — is magnified by the selective censorship of internet gatekeepers like Google and Facebook, all of which are engaged in the most outrageous distortions and censorship imaginable, deliberately silencing all conservative voices while amplifying left-wing channels and (fake) news sources, no matter how dishonest or hypocritical they are. This is all part of a deliberate scheme to silence open debate and suppress the voices of conservatives, heterosexuals, White people or Christians in order to favor lunatic left-wing culture that’s rooted in delusional thinking, anti-science “biology” and intense racism, bigotry and hatred toward anyone who doesn’t bow down to their totalitarianism cult.
The liberal/progressive/left along with the media has abandoned the working class for Identity Politics. Identity Politics teaches that women, blacks, and homosexuals are all victims of white heterosexual males who are characterized as the victimizer class, that is, those who victimize others.  The doctrine delegitimizes white heterosexual males in the same way that Nazi doctrine delegitimizes Jews and communist doctrine delegitimizes capitalists. There is no difference.
The liberal/progressive/left asserts that everyone knows that Robert E. Lee was an evil racist who fought for slavery and everyone who wants to protect his statue is obviously the same. Such people deserve no voice, no vote. They must be excluded from public discussion.
Imagine saying this about any other group, especially women, blacks, and homosexuals. How is it possible for the liberal/progressive/left to really believe that they are oppressed by powerful white male heterosexuals when they can demonize white males at will and prevent any backtalk?
As another example of the kind of intellectual dishonesty and seething hatred now routinely spouted by the Left — and amplified by Google and Facebook — consider the rantings of former Democratic congresswoman Donna Edwards, as reported by PJ Media:
Donna Edwards, a former Democratic congresswoman and now MSNBC contributor, said that Heather Hayer was run over and killed at the Charlottesville counter-protest “on behalf of President Trump.”
This wildly dishonest, hate-filled equating of President Trump with the actions of a medicated, insane Hitler supporter is given prominence and credibility by Google and Facebook, while all independent media voices that point out the insanity and danger of the Left’s baseless accusations are silenced, penalized or banned altogether. Censorship is totally out of control across the tech giants of America, and they are now run like cults where merely asking reasonable questions gets you censored.
As brilliantly explained by Robert Gore at Straight Line Logic:
Repression is when you get shot for telling the truth. Totalitarianism is when you get shot for asking questions.
You can have equal treatment or preferential treatment, but you can’t have both… A cherished goal of the diversity drones is to get the unfavored group to applaud not just the drones’ enlightened moral status, but to pretend that the favored group does just as good a job as the unfavored one, and that diversity of secondary traits (but not, evidently, diversity of thought) itself confers a benefit. It’s a subset of an “optics” problem that besets the entire redistributive racket: how do you get unfavored producers not just to go along with the scam and keep producing unearned benefits for the racketeers and redistributees, but to pretend they like it?
Indeed, it is the now-systematic censorship of the voices of reason — the independent media — that poses the greatest danger to peace and stability in this country. It appears that Google, Facebook and Twitter are deliberately trying to plunge America into a civil war so that they can blame Trump for the carnage. “Google not only has difficulty empathizing with other points of view — it is also actively trying to suppress them,” reports Lifezette.com. “People familiar with the process have told reporters recently that YouTube, a subsidiary of Google, is also laboring to cleanse its platform of alternative voices that challenge the mainstream liberal narrative. The social media video-sharing site has in the past few months systematically demonetized videos of right-wing commenters and journalists, such as Infowars editor-at-large Paul Joseph Watson and former Rebel Media reporter Lauren Southern.”

Google, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter must be regulated to protect “content neutrality”

That’s why it’s time to regulate internet monopolists and enact a “content neutrality” law that bars large internet corporations from selectively silencing websites and video channels they don’t like for purely political reasons.
My video explains more, revealing why censorship will lead America toward civil war, and if there is a civil war, the offices of Google and Facebook will most almost certainly be targeted first by pro-America forces seeking to end the tyranny and censorship of the Left that’s tearing this country apart. Join the March on Googlethis Saturday, August 19th, to protest Google censorship and oppression.
To overcome censorship, read Censored.news daily. Use GoodGopher.com as your news search engine, and stop using Google and Facebook altogether. (They’re mostly just front-ends for the NSA anyway. They exist to spy on you while you voluntarily hand over all your most sensitive data, including search phrases, the identities of all your friends, your daily habits and whereabouts, etc.)

Ann Coulter on Masters of the Universe Controlling Speech: ‘It Is Actual Censorship and It Is Terrifying

by JOHN HAYWARD5 Apr 2018

At the Breitbart News event “Masters of the Universe: Big Tech vs. Free Speech and Privacy” in Louisiana on Thursday night, author Ann Coulter said that Internet speech controls have gone far beyond criticizing flawed reports as fake news. “It is actual censorship, and it is terrifying,” she declared.

Coulter praised the Internet as “the greatest thing to happen to the Right,” so naturally the Left is now desperately trying to assert control over it.
“I just think we’ll all wake up one day and I’ll try to go to Breitbart, and I won’t be able to get there,” she said. “I’ll try to email you, and it won’t be able to get there. I won’t be able to find the Drudge Report.”
“The Internet has been a disaster for the Left,” Coulter pronounced. “The Left already controls all the institutions. They have all the networks. They have all the newspapers. They have the schools. They have the universities. They’re teaching preschoolers ‘white privilege.’ They can’t possibly gain anything from the Internet.”
She said this is why the Left views the Internet as a problem to be solved, a wild frontier to be tamed. It used to be a matter of playing “games” with conservative sites and users, “but now it’s just direct censorship, as is happening to Breitbart.”
“Any attack on the Internet, on total free speech on the Internet, is a disaster for conservatives,” Coulter warned. “It’s absolutely shocking what is being done to Breitbart. This is a major threat.”
She praised President Donald Trump for adroitly turning the charge of “fake news,” which was originally intended to stifle conservatives, back against the mainstream media.
“That was the first attack on places like Breitbart: Oh, it’s inaccurate, you can’t trust it,” she recalled, citing the mainstream media’s belief that average Americans are “ill-equipped” to determine which news is reliable, so media gatekeepers must do it for them. She decried the tendency of those media gatekeepers to stifle news that does not fit their preferred narratives, as in the case of the recent shooting at YouTube.
Coulter saw the praiseworthy tendency of younger news consumers to get their information from the Internet as a distinct threat to old media. “No one under 50 is getting news from the mainstream media anymore,” she remarked.
“Basically all the mainstream media is, is like a notice — ‘There’s been a shooting at YouTube!’ — and then you go to the Internet to find out what happened. Okay, look up YouTube online! It’s driving them crazy. So they start by attacking the crowdsourced news as inaccurate. Now, as I’ve been finding out from the brilliant Professor Epstein, it’s way more than that. It’s actual censorship, and it’s terrifying.”
Coulter was praising the work of fellow panelist Robert Epstein, whose seminal June 2016 essay “The New Censorship” argued that Google “isn’t just the world’s biggest purveyor of information; it is also the world’s biggest censor.”
Epstein took the topic handed off by Coulter and explained that Big Tech poses troubling problems of both surveillance and censorship. Facebook, Twitter, and especially Google are gathering massive amounts of information about us, and they are also influencing what information we receive.
“Even Twitter makes decisions about whether or not Ann Coulter’s tweets are going to go to her followers or not,” he pointed out. “That is called shadowbanning, and that has been documented. They actually do that.”
“I could go on forever about the censorship problem,” Epstein said. “These companies, they determine what we’re going to see and what we’re not going to see. Sometimes they put fancy language on it, like they’re going to suppress fake news stories.”
“The fact is, we don’t know what rules they’re applying, and there’s lots of evidence now that they are systematically suppressing political views that they just don’t like — not just on the Right, by the way, but progressives as well. They just go after anyone they want to, and there’s nothing we can do about it. There’s no recourse,” he said.
Epstein observed that much of this stealthy censorship is carried out automatically by algorithms that are completely inscrutable to the general public.
“If Breitbart published a nice satirical piece, brilliantly written, wouldn’t that look like a fake news story?” he asked. “And wouldn’t it get automatically censored, because the algorithms — and for that matter the people who are making these decisions, they would look at what he just said as something that’s false, invalid, unreasonable, and it would get censored.”
“This kind of power should not be in the hands of a handful of executives in Silicon Valley who are not accountable to us, the general public. They’re accountable only to their shareholders,” Epstein warned.
Later in the panel, Coulter disputed the libertarian argument that censorship is only a serious problem if the government does it, a notion that she found increasingly inapplicable in the era of Big Tech.
“If your speech is silenced, your speech is silenced. I don’t really care who’s silencing me,” she pointed out.

Comment:

I advise Care2 not to censor this comment as it will be posted elsewhere. You anti-freedom of speech, un-american, authoritarians, are gut-wrenchingly disgusting. Censorship is not an argument! Take a clue from Bill Maher on this one...

“If you’re a liberal, you’re supposed to be for free speech,” Maher told his panel. “That’s free speech for the speech you hate. That’s what free speech means. We’re losing the thread of the concepts that are important to this country. If you care about the real American sh*t or you don’t. And if you do, it goes for every side. I don’t like Alex Jones, but Alex Jones gets to speak. Everybody gets to speak.”
