Trump confirmed alongside Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the G-7 summit in France this week. President Trump said the Prime Minister agreed to purchase large sums of American farmers’ corn and “expects the billion-dollar deal to be sealed by the time the U.N. General Assembly meets in mid-September.”
