Despite the controversy surrounding Donald Trump’s possible selection of Mitt Romney for Secretary of State, the two met for dinner tonight along with Trumps newly minted Chief of Staff Reince Priebus.
After Romney’s initial meeting with Trump before Thanksgiving, social media exploded with scathing criticism of the former Republican presidential candidate who was an outspoken opponent of Trump during the primaries calling him a “fraud” and a “con man”.
Trump voters have been very vocal about their disapproval to Mitt Romney joining the administration, as many see him as a traitor and turncoat who betrayed Donald Trump in favor of maintaining the status quo.
