Wokism is based around Critical Race Theory that wants wealth distribution and positive affirmation for anyone in a designated oppressed 'minority' class relating to gender, sexual orientation and race. The label Cultural Marxism well describes what is going on. It's not simply a tolerance of people with differences but seeks to attack heterosexual society that is framed as an enemy. This craziness runs against our biological foundations and is a real danger to the functioning of a stable society.
The Lotus Eaters explore the issue and critique Tim Pool's view on the origin which he does not consider being ideological/academic, when it actually is. He thinks it's an out of control organically driven thing with no solid foundation.

What is truly terrifying is that when you ask someone that you confide in or value about how strange this is, they simply look at you with zero expression, zero concern, not connecting the dots or considering that there's anything is wrong. It's like the earth would have to literally open up at their feet and they'd have to see lava a hundred feet down for them to even acknowledge that something is different. The pandemic, the markets, the market manipulations, the record profits from the record inflation, the mass layoffs, the ufos, the wars, the bank runs, the wildfires and animals washing up dead, the headlines of how much plastic we consume...and nothing seems to faze them. I asked if March madness was over and who won and got an immediate response. If like minded people don't band together, we're going to get pulled under the water trying to save people.
